Create a new ECTOPAY agent application

These conditions apply to an application to become an ECTOPAY Retailer Agent. They are based on the agent terms used in the earlier ECTOPAY registration page and are adapted to the current online verification and payment workflow.

Registration and verification

1. Submitting this form creates an application only. It does not immediately create an ECTOPAY Agent/User ID.
2. The applicant confirms that the information and documents provided are true, accurate and belong to the applicant/business stated in this application.
3. ECTOPAY may approve, reject or request replacement documents before allowing payment and account creation.

Payment conditions

1. Payment must be made only using the bank/payment details displayed by ECTOPAY after document verification.
2. The applicant must provide the correct deposited amount, UTR/reference number, payment date and payment proof. A payment may remain pending until B2B verification is completed.
3. If a registration fee is configured, that fee is deducted from the approved deposit. The remaining approved amount is the amount eligible for wallet/balance processing.
4. Payment submission alone does not create the Retailer account. All required documents and the payment must be approved first.
5. After approval, B2B creates the Retailer User ID. The approved net deposit is then converted to the existing Balance Request workflow for that new User ID.

Agent responsibility

1. The applicant must be a Sri Lankan resident, at least 18 years old, and use a valid Sri Lankan registered mobile number.
2. The applicant agrees to keep account credentials and registered mobile access secure and to notify ECTOPAY of suspected misuse.
3. False information, false documents or misuse may result in rejection, suspension or termination in accordance with ECTOPAY rules and applicable law.
