This Privacy Policy explains how ECTO PAY (PRIVATE) LIMITED ("ECTOPAY", "we", "us") handles information when registered agents use the ECTOPAY Recharge Hub website, Android application and related services.

INFORMATION WE PROCESS

Depending on the feature used, we may process account identifiers and username, registered mobile number, agent or business name, authentication and session information, recharge or service account numbers, customer mobile numbers supplied for applicable utility transactions, operator or service selections, recharge and payment amounts, transaction identifiers and status, wallet or credit information, balance-request information, bank/payment reference details, payment mode, and payment-proof images or PDF files voluntarily uploaded for verification.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use information to authenticate agents, provide recharge and utility-payment services, process and verify balance requests, maintain transaction history, communicate service or security information, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, keep accounting and operational records, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

SERVICE PROVIDERS AND TRANSACTION PARTNERS

Information necessary to perform a requested service may be processed by ECTOPAY infrastructure and relevant telecommunications, DTH, utility, messaging, payment, banking, hosting or technical service providers.

PAYMENT PROOF

If an agent submits a balance request, the service may allow an image or PDF payment proof to be uploaded. This material is used for verification, accounting, fraud prevention and dispute handling.

SECURITY

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. The app supports authenticated access and security controls such as biometric or device credential protection where available.

RETENTION AND DELETION

We retain information for as long as reasonably required to provide the service and to meet security, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution and legal obligations.
